I brought this online through JB. It was a refurb and too cheap not to buy. Really wanting to replace my CRT but no money to do so, if I got 2 years out of it I'd be happy. Like other reviews, the picture quality was amazing, the sound a bit tinny (which I could put up with), the EPG was annoying AF only being able to view the current time, and the remote was really good.

Then I was watching it, paused to get my pizza delivery, came back and it was off, or so I thought. Turned it back on, started watching again then shortly after I saw the screen quickly fade to black, but this time with sound because this time it was still playing.

Turned it off and on again. Unplugged everything then started again.

Always sound no picture. Thankfully JB was very good and took it back and repaid me in full (after a bit of haggling with the service guy who was happy to palm it off to Soniq until I showed him an email from the store manager, then it was all puppies and kittens).

I had already earmarked another (new) model to buy when I got my refund but now realise this brand is not worth the paper it's written on. Worked OK for 6 months, the sound is pretty terrible & now I have trouble turning it on as there is something dodgy with the power cable which seems to be a common problem. I wish I did not purchase it online as it is still under warranty however where I bought it from is an 8 hour round trip just to drop it off for repair and then another 8 hour trip to pick it up again. It will actually cost me less to buy another TV & I definitely won't buy this model again or purchase online as the customer service is ridiculous. Lesson learned I suppose.

My tv was working well but suddenly i get green lines then pink then white and black. I turned it off (more from fear it was going to bloe up than anything). I did all the suggestions i could find, unplugged from wall left an hour. Took out aerial and put back again. Tried the reset button, changed batteries and then it began again but as soon as i tried to change channel it went to a total white screen.

It sounds like its dying but im a pensioner with a disability. I cant afford a new one even refurbished. It will work on abc or nine channels even sbs. Never worked prop on 10 or 11 but I didnt care. I turned on earlier and 2 was perfect.

It was only as I tried to change it i got white screen Also not sure about the length of warranty but i might just be out of it. Im pretty sure it is. Im not sure but when i plug it in i get a brief flash of blue then the dvd makes a noise like its trying to load.

Maybe wishful thinking but could something be wrong with it tgat can be easily fixed by myself or my daughter.
