Burny Guitar Serial Number Fg
So, I have been offered 2 1980's Burny's models they are - Burny Super Grade LP - Burny Les Paul Custom with VH-1 pickups They got me curious, because a friend of mine, recently managed to get his hands on Burny LP Custom, which turned out to be that good, that he sold his Gibson Les Paul Custom. They both are basically the same price (1000$ for each). So, my question is, do they stand a chance to compete with Epiphone Elitist series, or Gibson Standard, and, are they worth the money?
Badged guitars known to have been made by Matsumoku include Apollo, Arita, Barclay, Burny, Capri, Columbus, Conrad, Cortez (electrics only), Country, Cutler, Dia, Domino, Electra, Epiphone, Granada, Hi Lo, Howard. Find vintage guitar dating and serial number resources to date your vintage guitar.
P.S Sorry for my english. Far better then the epi elites and on par with most vintage gibsons seriously Elites are an older Japanese Epiphone, Elitist was the newer line. Have you ever actually played one? I don't think so because you wouldn't be dissing them so easily. Also, how many Vintage Les Pauls have you ever touched? They're worth a fortune and very hard to find. Torrent Softimage Xsi. You must be talking about re-issues which can be found at many music stores and I found the Elitist just as good as they were! Torrent Need For Speed Underground 2 Pc Iso on this page.
I bought two. BTW Burny's (Fernandes) make great guitars in Japan but watch out for the Korean or Chinese variants out there! They are not as good. Elites are an older Japanese Epiphone, Elitist was the newer line. Have you ever actually played one?

These burnys, which I am talking about are MIJ, so, do you think they can compete against elitist?
Their reputation (MIJ) is very good. I haven't actually tried them but those who have do speak highly of them. My guess is yes, they would compare & compete against an Elitist as both are designed to emulate the Les PAul as closely as they can with high quality materials and workmanship. Your question though is kind of ill timed as it's highly unlikely you'll get an Elitist LP now (unless you come across a used one for sale). Here in Canada I don't think you can buy a Burny (or Orville for that matter). I wouldn't be surprised to find that Gibson would do all in its power to prevent their sales here for copyright reasons while in Japan theyd basically have no say in the matter. BTW I've looked into buying some of these MIJ LPs and they look great, materials listed are top notch but when I calculate the prices on some (especially Tokais best) you're paying almost the same money as you would for a Gibson LP Standard (ie >$2000.00 USD >$2500.00 CAD) One of the attractions for me with the Elitist is they played as nice as the original but cost considerably less.
($1000.00USD, $1400.00CAD) and personally, if I was going to spend the same amount of monay on a copy as the Gibson, I'd be very tempted to just trying as many Gibsons as I could until I found the right one. Their reputation (MIJ) is very good.

Well I am able to buy either Burny Les Paul Custom or Super Grade, or Epiphone Elitist Custom, but I have no chance to try them before buying, so I just want to gather as many info as possible.
